Hey, I'm Kie. I've been learning HTML/CSS for about 5-6 years now but have only just decided to actually make a site to help people &+ I absolutely love your site. I've read through the questions to see if I could find an answer but unfortunately I havent. So here goes. I see on loads of peoples sites the boxes for HTML codes like the ones on your page, HTML HELP. The only code I can find is the < textarea > one. However the border for it is grey. I was wondering if you knew the code to get them so you can change the border colour and put a scroll bar in like yours? Its ok if you don't know, Its worth a shot :) thanks

Sure..In fact several hosts have offered me a subdomain :) && I also tried Freewebs last year, but I never finished the site though. Plus, I don't really spend a lot time on my site because I'm too busy with my education...so I don't really think I have enough time :)

Hi! Im't not I know exactly what you mean. Do you like a host where you can upload your pictures to the internet? If so I use photobucket.com and tinypic.com. It's for free :) Then you will get a URL code for the layout/thumbnail && put them in the code from the tutorial. I hope I was able to help you...

Umm, sorry there's no vode for that. When you got lots of hit or visits && you get the highest piczo rank ; ultimate member or something... Then piczo removes the ads on the top of your site! So keep getting lots of hits && soon you'll be rewarded :D

Umm... I think it's because my site has had a lot of hits so I'm an ultimate member or something; then piczo removes the ads on the top of your site so that the layout gets right under the toolbars...

Hi :)
I sort of use my css code in my guestbook-page...if you use css, you can change the 'p{' -part in the code to change the way your guestbook looks. If you are not using css, you should add this code to your guestbook-page:

then you can change the colors, the thickness of the border && type of border...you can choose between solid, dotted, dashed and double! Hope it works :)

Well, when you have made the thumbnail, you first need to upload it to photobucket, tinypic or imageshack or piczo. & there you can usually find the url for it too, if not; just right-click on it && click on properties --> you can find the URL there too. Hope you understand && maybe you should check out my tut on it too :)

Hii! lol, this is very easy to do if use navigation-boxes. If you do so, you just have to change the border-left and the border-right. Just pick a colour and thickness of the border && voila! You got borders like the ones on my site-page.

Hi :) Layouts are basically pictures; often edited and set together in different ways. Most websites have them for decoration && also use it like a header...

You can make layouts in different photo editing programmes :) && no you don't have to buy them. You can make layouts in paint && it's also possible to download free programmes from the internet...you can also downaload trials for really good ones; paint shop pro or photoshop :)

Well, do you use css? If you don't, that must be the reason they didnt work. And if you do use css, you have to change the a.box settings to change the way the links look :)

Lol, the border isn't hard to do at all :p I use css so I just set my border like this on all the headers (h1, h3 etc.):
border:3px dotted #000000;
You can change colour and thickness as you wish...
I'm not so sure how to do it with usual textbox-codes though...
If you don't use css, just reply & I'll try figuring out how to it otherwise....

2. I first got my css-code from vejc-design.com, and now I'm using css on all my pages...I just customize the code to fit the diferent pages :P
3. I can't say I get the ideas for my layouts from one specific source; I don't want to copy anyone. Most of the time I just open up my PSP and try around with the pictures and see what happens, lol :P
